Allegra Spender MP to launch ‘The Hidden War’

The Robert Menzies Institute is pleased to announce the publication of a new book commemorating the 75th anniversary of the signing of the ANZUS treaty.

Commissioned by the Robert Menzies Institute and written by award-winning children’s author, Belinda Murrell, this young adult fiction tells the story of the ANZUS treaty from the perspective of John Spender (the son of Percy Spender, Menzies’s Minister for External Affairs).

We are honoured that John Spender’s daughter and Member for Wentworth Allegra Spender MP will launch The Hidden War for us on 1 September in Sydney.
