Excursions

The Robert Menzies Institute offers unique excursions connected to 20th century Australian history and politics. Students get to tour our museum, as well as engage with curators and historians on the making of modern Australia – including but not limited to post-war immigration, the Cold War and the making of the ANZUS treaty. Activities can be tailored to the school’s specific needs.

We are particularly excited to offer newly developed resources on Australia’s role in the Cold War and the significance of events in the Asia-Pacific region. The Institute welcomes high school classes of any year level. If you are a teacher and this sounds of interest to you, please get in contact with us via the form below or by emailing schools@robertmenziesinstitute.org.au.

Incursions

The Robert Menzies Institute is also able to offer incursions by our historian Dr Zachary Gorman. Through this opportunity, Australia’s 20th century political history can be brought to life in your classroom by a respected expert. Material can be tailored to suit class requirements and interest. If you are a teacher and this sounds of interest to you, please get in contact with us via the form below or by emailing schools@robertmenziesinstitute.org.au.
