Summary
Robert and Pattie Menzies were the guests of President Carlos Garcia at the presidential palace when they visited the Philippines in April 1957. Menzies addressed the Philippines Congress and spoke of the importance of freedom and SEATO (Southeast Asia Treaty Organisation). He laid wreaths at the monument to Jose Rizal and the tomb of President Ramon Magsaysay.
