    Robert Menzies visited Greece after attending the Prime Ministers' Conference in London in 1955. While there, he met Prime Minister Alexander Papagos and performed official wreath-laying ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Commonwealth war memorial in Athens. Menzies and his entourage also enjoyed a guided tour of the Acropolis and lunched with King Paul and Queen Frederica.
