Robert Menzies Institute Exhibition Launch

  • East Wing, Old Quad (Parkville Campus) (map)

The first exhibition of the Robert Menzies Institute will officially open in February 2022 at the University of Melbourne.

The exhibition will examine the influences on Menzies’s liberalism. Co-curated by the Institute’s Deputy Chair The Hon Dr David Kemp AC and Menzies Research Centre Executive Director Nick Cater, the exhibition will be across two rooms in the East Wing of the Old Quad and will showcase items from the Menzies collection at the University of Melbourne.

The East Wing Foyer is dedicated to Menzies’s political ideologies and how his thought developed over a period of time leading up to the establishment of the Liberal Party.

The East Wing Menzies Room, overlooking the South Lawn, will focus on how Menzies was successful in helping build Australia in the post war era.
